Minister Krishna Byre Gowda assured that the government will build administrative offices for all 64 new taluks within the next three years. This commitment was made during a Legislative Assembly session on Monday in response to a question from MLA Bhagirathi of Sulya Constituency. The minister stated that while it may not be reasonable to discuss the start of all departmental offices in the new taluks, the construction of administrative offices will proceed as planned.
Despite new taluks being formed six years ago, only 14 taluks have received their own buildings. Government buildings for the remaining taluks have not yet been sanctioned. The minister confirmed that the government is focused on constructing these offices in all new taluk centers without exception, regardless of any challenges faced. Staff placement will also be addressed as part of this initiative.
