Hyderabad
On Friday, 23 domestic flights were canceled at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) due to a global Microsoft outage. The IT disruption led to the cancellation of 12 departing and 11 arriving flights, according to airport sources.
By the afternoon, the situation remained unresolved, and more cancellations could occur as IT services were still down. RGIA reassured passengers by stating, we are working closely with our partners to reduce inconvenience. Please contact your airline for flight updates.
Many travelers were checking with airlines about their flight status, and those who had already arrived at the airport were inquiring about refunds or the possibility of rescheduled flights.
