Kasaba Co-op Plans Expansion at Annual Meeting

The annual general meeting of the Kasaba Multi-Purpose Primary Rural Agricultural Co-operative Society for the year 2023-24 was held successfully at Kote Road in Devanahalli on Monday. President G.N. Venugopal announced unanimous plans to identify a suitable space to enhance the association’s turnover and further develop its building.

During the meeting, President Venugopal highlighted the society’s financial success, reporting a profit of Rs.4 lakh for the year. He highlighted the need for a more visible location along a main road with high foot traffic to facilitate easier access and operations, suggesting collaboration with authorities to construct a new building. Addressing concerns about space limitations and perception, he urged cooperation from BDCC Bank directors to expedite the identification and construction of a suitable site.

Director M. Ramesh of the District Co-operative Bank shared details about various loan facilities available, including special provisions for agricultural and livestock needs. He encouraged members to take advantage of these offerings for their financial benefit.

The event also saw the presentation of the annual report by CEO N. Venkatesh and the felicitation of District Cooperative Bank Director M. Ramesh and Supervisor C. Prakash. Vice President C. Manjunath, along with directors and other officials, were present.
