CM Sets Agenda For B’luru Tech Summit 2024

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah opened the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024 during a breakfast meeting at Bengaluru Palace on Friday. Industry leaders and innovators gathered to discuss Karnataka’s growth as a technology leader and its role in India’s global standing.

Amidst the architects of Bengaluru’s transformation, CM Siddaramaiah remarked on the relentless pursuit of excellence. Bengaluru’s pivotal role as the epicenter of India’s technological aspirations was underscored, attributing the state’s success to forward-looking policies fostering innovation and sustainable growth. Karnataka’s impressive GSDP growth rate of 14.2% in FY23 and its substantial contribution to India’s GDP highlight its economic significance.

Looking ahead, the state’s commitment to embracing next-generation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing was outlined by CM Siddaramaiah. Industry leaders were called upon to collaborate with the government in creating a conducive ecosystem for technological advancement.

Gratitude was expressed to industry bodies like NASSCOM, IESA, ABLE, TiE, and Vision Groups for their steadfast support. CM Siddaramaiah announced the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024, scheduled from November 19 to 21, themed ‘Breaking Boundaries.’ This flagship event aims to foster cross-sectoral collaboration and explore emerging technological trends across IT, Biotechnology, Startups, and the new ESDM track.

Highlighting Karnataka’s global outreach through the GoK – Global Innovation Alliance program, CM Siddaramaiah invited countries to showcase their technological prowess at the summit. The address concluded with an urging for stakeholders to actively participate in Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024, envisioning it as a catalyst for Karnataka’s ascent as a global technology hub.
