Under the Channarayapatna Community Development Plan, Exide Industries Limited marked a significant stride towards rural development with the inauguration of street lights and a water plant at Cheemachanahalli village. Mandar, CEO and MD of Exide Energy Solutions Limited, highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing the economic and social well-being of rural areas during the ceremony.
The initiative aims to integrate rural development through strategic partnerships and grassroots programs, focusing on improving livelihoods and access to essential services. Mandar underscored the collaborative effort between the community and Exide Energy Solutions Limited, highlighting their mutual role in sustainable growth.
The installations, commencing at 10:30 AM in Tellohalli and later at Polanahalli village, included high mast lights and a clean drinking water unit at Cheemachanahalli. These developments are expected to benefit over 1,500 residents across these areas, enhancing safety, security, and public health.
Ratnamma Venkateshappa, Vice President of the Panchayat, expressed gratitude towards Exide Energy Solutions Limited for their commitment to inclusive growth. The project has already positively impacted 2,000 beneficiaries by improving access to education and overall community well-being.
