In Emmehatti village of Bhadravati taluk, a tragic accident near Haveri claimed the lives of 13 people. Actor Shivrajkumar and his wife had announced a personal compensation of one lakh each to the families of the deceased. On Tuesday, Shivrajkumar and Geeta Shivrajkumar visited Emmehatti village to offer condolences to the bereaved families. They provided a compensation of Rs 10 lakhs to each family of the deceased and Rs 1.50 lakhs each to the two injured individuals.
Geeta Shivrajkumar expressed sorrow over the accident, stating it was a heartbreaking situation for the families. She emphasized their commitment to supporting the affected families and offering encouragement during this difficult time. Actor Shivrajkumar added that while they could provide assistance, they understood the irreplaceable loss suffered by the families. He wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.MLA Sangamesh, District Congress President R Prasanna Kumar, Kalagudu Ratnakar, Manjunath, and others were present during the condolence visit.
