An 18-year-old man, Pavan Kumar, was killed, and his relative, Prem Kumar, was seriously injured when their speeding bike hit a stone wall near Bannerghatta Ragi in Anekal taluk on Sunday Night.
The accident occurred on the main road between Shivanahalli and Jangalpalya. Pawan Kumar died on the spot from head and neck injuries due to severe bleeding. Prem Kumar is receiving treatment at a private hospital in Jigani.
Pawan Kumar had attended a free health camp in Sivanahalli and was returning home when the accident happened. A passerby, Chandra Kumar, informed Pawan Kumar’s elder brother, Puneeth, who then alerted the police. The Bannerghatta police visited the scene, moved the body to a local hospital, and transferred the injured to Vijayashree Hospital in Jigani. A case has been registered at Bannerghatta police station.
