Extensive training has been undergone by all Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel of South Western Railway to effectively implement three new laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023, and Bharatiya Shakhsya Adhiniyam (BSA) 2023. This training was mandated by Director General RPF to ensure readiness in handling these legal requirements with professionalism and compliance.

As part of India’s criminal justice system overhaul, the Sangyaan App has been launched by Manoj Yadava, DG RPF. The app, designed by the RPF Tech team aims to provide comprehensive information on the three new laws. It is accessible on both android and iOS platforms, featuring user-friendly navigation, a searchable database, and offline capabilities. These features make it a practical tool for RPF personnel to stay updated on the latest legal developments in India.

Sangyaan App includes the bare acts of BNS, BNSS, and BSA 2023, optimized for mobile viewing. It allows users to read, search, and refer to these laws conveniently while on duty. Key sections of BNSS and BNS are analyzed to highlight their relevance in field operations from procedural perspectives. The app also offers advanced search functions for efficient navigation through legal texts, allowing users to find relevant information quickly by section, chapter, or subject.

Moreover, Sangyaan App encompasses other crucial legal acts and rules pertaining to railway security, such as RPF Act 1957, The Railway Act 1989, The Railway Property (Unlawful Possession) Act 1966, and RPF Rules 1987. This ensures that RPF personnel have instant access to all critical legal information pertinent to their operations.
