Bangalore Agricultural University (BAU) has launched an online platform for seed sales as part of the All India Integrated Project (Seed Crops). The website, Beejajalatana www.uasgkvkseeds.org, allows farmers to register and purchase sowing seeds directly. Registration requires a complete address and accurate pin code. Payments can be made online using services like Google Pay and PhonePe.
The platform promises doorstep delivery of sowing seeds via the postal department across the university’s ten districts. Available seeds include millet, paddy, sorghum, pea, hybrid sunflower seeds, and others for oilseed crops.
Farmers can access seeds from various centers including the National Seed Project (NSP), Agricultural Technology Information Center (ATIC), GKVK, Agricultural Science Centers in Chamarajanagar, Kandali, Hassan, Chintamani, and the Agricultural Research Centre, VC Farm, Mandya, and Ragi Brahma Laknaniah Navararaitha Advisory Center APMC Yard, Mandya.
