Special Traffic Advisory For Yatra Convoy, Non-Convoy Movement Issued By Police

The Traffic Police Headquarters J&K has released a thorough traffic warning in anticipation of the next Amarnath Yatra in order to guarantee the security and easy mobility of commuters and Yatris.

According to the yatra convoy cut-off times for traveling between the Jammu zone and the Kashmir valley, the up Baltal convoy will depart at 4 a.m. from Jammu, 10 a.m. from Lamber (Banihal), and 5 p.m. from Manigam.

The down Baltal convoy from Baltal to Jammu is scheduled to depart at 6 a.m. from Baltal and 11:30 a.m. from Lamber (Banihal).

The advisory stated that the Pahalgam Up convoy will leave Jammu at 4.30 am and depart from Lamber (Banihal) at 11 am. The Pahalgam Down convoy will travel from Pahalgam at 6 am, departing from Nunwan, Pahalgam at 6.30 am and departing from Lamber (Banihal) at 8 am.

According to the advisory, the last vehicle to cross the Navyug tunnel towards the Valley will be at 3 pm, and the last vehicle to cross Mir Bazar towards Anantnag will be at 4 pm, for non-convoy Yatris or tourists traveling from Jammu to Pahalgam (apart from the main convoy arriving from Jammu).

There will be a cut-off time of 3 p.m. for the last vehicle to cross Peaks Crossing, Lasjan towards Manigam (apart from the main convoy arriving from Jammu); 3:30 p.m. for the last vehicle to cross Shadipora or Sumbal towards Manigam; and 5 p.m. for the last vehicle to cross Manigam transit camp towards Baltal.
