Dengue cases usually increase as it is rainy season. Therefore, all precautionary measures have been taken to control dengue cases, said Health Minister Dinesh Gundurao.

Speaking to the media in the city, he said that dengue cases have been reported in some districts including Chikkamagaluru. However, the death rate among dengue patients is low. Precautionary measures have been taken to control dengue. Meanwhile, people should also take precautions. If the water stagnates, the mosquitoes that spread dengue will increase. So it should be ensured that water does not stand in front of the house. The minister appealed to the public to cooperate in dengue control.

I will not respond to HD Kumaraswamy’s allegation that does DK Shivakumar is remembering Channapatna now.  Former MP DK Suresh has done a good job in Bengaluru Rural constituency. When elections come, tactics are normal. Bye-elections are held. Three in-charges have been appointed. They will collect the opinion of the constituency and who should be the candidate. We will select the winning candidate. Our aim is to win the three constituencies, said Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao.
