LS Election Results Proved State Is The Stronghold Of BJP: BY Vijayendra

In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, it has been observed that the BJP continues to dominate in South India. The alliance between BJP and JD(S) received popular support in the state, leading to the election of 19 NDA MPs. At a ceremony held at Palace Grounds, BJP State President and MLA BY Vijayendra congratulated all the workers involved in this achievement.

Despite criticism from the Congress party, which only managed to win 9 seats compared to its previous single seat, BJP and JD(S) are currently ahead in more than 145 assembly constituencies. Vijayendra noted that BJP candidates have even secured leads in constituencies where Congress ministers were contesting.

Looking ahead, Vijayendra highlighted the need to combat what he described as the misrule of the Congress party over the next four years. He highlighted a decline in various sectors due to what he termed as a year of mismanagement under Congress rule.

BS Yediyurappa, former Chief Minister and member of the Central Parliamentary Board, urged the public to recognize Congress for what he alleged were false promises, corruption, and inefficiency leading to underdevelopment.Overall, the elections underscored BJP’s stronghold in Karnataka and the support garnered for the BJP-JD(S) alliance, amidst challenges posed by the Congress party.State Election Co-in-charge Sudhakar Reddy, Opposition Leader R Ashoka, Union Ministerx Pralhad Joshi, Shobha Karandlaje, V Somanna, HD Kumaraswamy, MPs Basavaraja Bommai, Jagadish Shettar, Govinda Karajola, former Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda also spoke.
