The T20 2024 World Cup is underway and the match between India and Pakistan was held in New York last night. Many expressed joy after India’s momentous win against Pakistan and actor Dhanush took to social media to praise the Indian cricketer Bumrah. The actor who was unable to control his joy and excitement after India’s win called Bumrah a beauty.
Taking to X, Dhanush said, ‘Bumrah You Beauty.’
India scored a total of 119 runs and the game changed once Bumrah took 3 strong wickets from Pakistan as they completed the match with 113 runs. Apart from Dhanush, many Indian actors rejoiced at the win of India against Pakistan.
On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in the film ‘Captain Miller’. The actor is now awaiting the release of his second directorial ‘Raayan’ which is currently in post-production. The movie stars Dhanush, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Prakash Raj, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan and Aparna Balamurali in lead roles and the music for it is composed by AR Rahman.
Dhanush is also shooting for the trilingual film ‘Kubera’ directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film stars Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna alongside Dhanush and the actor also has two more projects in the pipeline that include ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ with Anand L Rai and a yet to be titled Ialiyaraaja biopic with Arun Matheswaran.
