Bangaru Hanumantu, the BJP ST Morcha State President, has issued a stern warning, declaring that if Minister Nagendra does not step down within six days amid the Valmiki Development Corporation scandal, the party will orchestrate vehement protests across the state.
Addressing reporters on Saturday at the BJP state office Jagannath Bhawan in Malleswaram, Hanumantu conveyed his ultimatum to Minister Nagendra, stressing the urgency of his resignation. He disclosed his intention to seek guidance from the party’s state president, B.Y. Vijayendra, for the ensuing battle.
Hanumantu recounted protests, including the condemnation of the incident and the siege laid at the Chief Minister’s residence. He highlighted a massive demonstration held in Bellary the previous day and announced forthcoming endeavors to exert pressure on the government, including demands for a CBI probe into the scandal, with the Morcha and society’s collaboration.
