But it’s Suriya, who reportedly suggested the director consider Vijay Kumar for the antagonist role, and the director has then decided to rope in the fiery actor to lock horns with Suriya in ‘Suriya 44’, according to a report.
Vijay Kumar has a reasonable relationship with Suriya as the latter distributed the actor’s ‘Uriyadi 2’, and the latter has a great belief in the promising director-actor. Vijay Kumar also penned the dialogues for Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’, which was directed by Sudha Kongara. ‘Suriya 44’ makers have announced the crew for Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial officially. Shreyaas Krishna will be cranking the camera, while the editing is to be done by Shafique Mohamed Ali. Jaika will be taking care of the stunts for the action drama.
