Must read

Actress Shruti Haasan has been in the headlines lately after her breakup with Santanu Hazarika was made public. In an ‘ask-me anything’ Instagram session with her fans, Shruti Haasan revealed that she is single now and will completely be focusing on her career alone.

The couple was dating for 4 years and lived together in Mumbai before they parted ways in March this year. Taking to Instagram last evening, the actress treated her fans to a small snippet of her latest composition. The video features Shruti Haasan composing a piece on her piano, which is sung and written by her. The song explains about self-love, breakups, and the road to recovery, and it has now left the fans of the actress thinking that it was hinting at her experience of life after separating from her ex-boyfriend, Santanu Hazarika.

Sharing the video, the actress captioned it, ‘I shut the door, and I ate the key. I do not need that anymore. Back to my free writing, and it feels so cathartic. I have been in a chaotic pond, swimming to the bottom, searching for light. I found sludge, moss, and a whole song. Life is brilliant and scary and beautiful and worth every bit of magic’.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in the Tamil music video ‘Inimel’ alongside Lokesh Kanagaraj. She is soon expected to start shooting for ‘Salaar 2’ that stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumar in lead roles.
