 Bengaluru

Rajya Raita Sangha and Hasiru Sene state president Kodihalli Chandrashekhar joined the Aam Aadmi Party during the massive farmers’ rally held in the presence of Delhi CM Aravind Kejriwal.

Speaking in the rally, Kejriwal said, “Karnataka has 40 percent commission government and Delhi’s AAP government is zero  percent commission government. CBI, ED, IT officials who work under the Union government raided my residence and office. They could find only my muffler there and didn’t get any other wrongdoings. Thus, CBI and the Union Government have given us the certificate that ours is a zero commission government.”

“If the farmers of the state are willing, both Congress and B J P, which receive 20 percent and 40 percent commissions respectively, can be kept away from power. The Aam Aadmi Party, which provides benefits to everyone including women and children, and controls corruption, can be brought to power here as well. While the BJP is creating communal tensions across the country, the Aam Aadmi Party is striving to provide people friendly governance,” said Aravind Kejriwal.

The Aam Aadmi Party state convenor Prithvi Reddy said, “The people of Delhi are getting world class health care, education, and sports facilities. They receive electricity, drinking water and other basic facilities for free. The people of Karnataka are being taxed just as much as the people of Delhi. But people of Karnataka are not getting the benefits that people get in Delhi. If this injustice is to be corrected, then the government of the Aam Aadmi Party must come to power here.”

Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha state president Kodihalli Chandrashekhar said, “We were in a confusion as to which party to support in order to get political strength to the emotions of the farmers. It has been proved that the three parties which have ruled Karnataka have no concerns about the farmers. Now the farmers have got a leader like Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party as a light of hope. Their honesty and concern for the masses will help the state’s farmers. He has demonstrated that in Delhi.”

“The Government has amended the Land Reforms Act to facilitate the grabbing of agricultural land by industrialists which has resulted in the loss of employment for farmers and labourers. The farmers are also suffering because of the amendments brought to the APMC Act and Cow Slaughter Act. We have been demanding for several months that the state government should withdraw the amendments as the Union government. But C M Basavaraj Bommai, who cares little about farmers, continues to postpone it from session to session,” said Chandrashekhar.

Raitha Sangha declares full support to AAP

Rajya Raitha Sangha expressed its full support to the Aam Aadmi Party at the Farmers Rally held in the presence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Speaking about this, Kodihalli Chandrashekhar said, “Rajya Raitha Sangha will continue to be an independent organisation as before. But we will fully support the Aam Aadmi Party politically. Raitha Sangha activists will work hard to bring A A P to power in the 2023 Assembly elections. This decision has been taken in the interests of all the farmers of the state.”

Mathai, who is known as an efficient officer, has been transferred more than 28 times in his 18-year long career due to his conduct that never compromised with corruption.
