Home Minister G Parameshwar addressed media queries outside his Sadashivnagar residence, stating his lack of knowledge regarding any threats faced by the victims in the Prajwal Revanna case. He emphasized that he was unaware of the identities behind these alleged threats and suggested that the National Commission for Women liaise with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter further. Parameshwar affirmed the SIT’s authority to take necessary actions based on their findings.
Regarding allegations made by Kumaraswamy against Congress leaders, Parameshwar declined to comment, citing an inability to provide a response. On the complaint lodged against BJP leader Devaraj Gowda, he assured that the SIT was actively handling the situation in accordance with legal procedures. Parameshwar reiterated that the SIT’s operations were conducted within the bounds of the law, addressing all complaints received and meticulously examining each aspect, including viral videos, complaints, and statements. He assured that the SIT officials would meticulously monitor all developments related to the case.
