Pan-India star Prabhas’s most expensive film ever will now release on January 12, 2023. Though this is quite disappointing news to ‘Darling’ fans as they had to wait till next year to see the visual extravaganza, it is going to set the Indian screens on fire next year., as the film is reportedly taking its time to complete the VFX & other post-production work.
The film was earlier announced to be released on August 11, 2022. Also, there were several unforeseen circumstances in the form of covid new variant which made several big films juggle their dates, that had resulted to push the Om Raut and Prabhas film a litter further.
Also, Sankranthi’s release is reportedly a huge advantage for Prabhas as ‘Adipurush’ becomes the first film to lock the big festival date next year, which is celebrated across the country. This would also make Prabhas have only 2 releases namely Radha Krishna Kumar’s ‘Radhe Shyam’ and Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar’ as the above film was postponed to next year.
‘Adipurush’ is touted to be a Hindu Mythological film that is based on the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’ written by Valmiki. The film will star Saif Ali Khan as an antagonist, while Kriti Sanon plays the lady lead ‘Sita’ in the film. The film is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar & Rajesh Nair under the banners T-Series Films and Retrophiles.
The film is reportedly one of the most expensive Indian films ever made and will release in Hindi, Telugu along with its dubbed versions of Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada Languages on 12th January 2023.
