Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency Congress candidate Venkataramane Gowda (Star Chandru) campaigned in various Gram Panchayats of Nagamangala and KR Pet Taluks on Monday.
Star Chandru held a road show and canvassed for votes along with former MLAs KB Chandrasekhar, Prakash, DL Devaraj in Bharatipur, Aghalaya, Santhebachahalli, Ranganathapur Cross, Sarangi panchayats of KR Pet taluk.
In Nagamangala, Star Chandru was supported by Minister Chaluvarayaswamy and former MLC Appaji Gowda. He conducted election campaign in Anchechittanahalli, Hulikere, Gondenahalli panchayats.
Speaking on this occasion, Star Chandru said that people will appreciate the programs of the Congress government and this time they will hold our hands. Kiwi Matu said that our workers should do the task of delivering the 25 promises of the central government to the doorsteps along with the guarantee schemes of the state government.
I am from this district and will be with you. I work as a link between the people and the government. I have formulated special plans for the development of each sector. He said that emphasis will be given on irrigation, job creation and tourism development.
The schemes of the Congress government have reached everyone regardless of party affiliation. The National Congress has also announced to give Rs 1 lakh annually to the women of the country on the model of the state. In addition to this, 25 announcements such as waiver of loans, MGNREGA wages increase to Rs 400, minimum support price for crops will be implemented, he said.
