West Bengal’s Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, criticized Rajnath Singh on Monday, telling him to focus on keeping his own position secure instead of working for the BJP. She expressed that the BJP does not appreciate his efforts, saying, first, ensure your own position, then come and work for the BJP. The BJP doesn’t value you. Because of you, Narendra Modi is India’s PM, she stated at a public gathering in Chakulia, Raiganj.
Banerjee also mentioned that the parties opposing her Trinamool Congress (TMC) are essentially supporting the BJP. She claimed that the CPM and Congress are indirectly aiding the BJP. She challenged them saying, those opposing TMC are like BJP’s allies, CPM and Congress. BJP supports them so they can divide the minority votes.
She urged voters not to support those who have left the TMC for the BJP, labeling them as traitors. The recent voting in some parliamentary constituencies favored the BJP, with more rounds scheduled for later dates. The final results will be announced on June 4.
The political landscape in West Bengal has seen shifts, especially with the BJP aiming to challenge the TMC’s dominance. The upcoming elections are crucial for both parties to showcase their influence and gain an advantage in the state’s political arena.
