Four individuals from a family were reportedly discovered murdered early on Friday. According to the police, the incident occurred at approximately 2:30 am on Friday at Dasara Oni in Gadag town.
The victims have been identified as Karthik Prakash Bakale (27), Parashuram Hadimani (55), Lakshmi Hadimani (45), and Akanksha Hadimani (16). Karthik, the son of BJP leader Prakash Hadimani, was among the victims. His mother, Sunanda, serves as the vice president of the Gadag-Betageri City Municipal Council.
It is said that the Hadimani family had come to attend Karthik’s marriage, which was scheduled for April 17. Gadag Superintendent of Police Babasaheb Nemgoud stated that the investigation is ongoing, and the culprits will soon be apprehended. It is probable that the criminals gained entry through the open terrace of the building and committed the crime. Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister HK Patil visited the grieving family members and extended his condolences.
