Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu shocked everyone with their divorce announcement October last year. After four years of marriage, they announced the news by issuing a joint statement leaving their fans sad. Now, months after their separation, rumour mills are abuzz that the ‘Bangarraju’ actor is planning to get married for the second time.
Recently, various reports suggested that the ‘Venky Mama’ actor will announce his second wedding soon. And rumours of Naga Chaitanya planning to announce his second wedding to a T-town actress started doing the rounds. The rumours of Chay planning to announce his wedding grabbed attention of netizens. The news created quite a stir on the internet, however, nothing has been confirmed yet.
For the unversed, Naga Chaitanya met Saantha on the sets of ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ in 2010. While Samantha was seen as a Kerala Christian Jessie Thekkekuttu, Naga Chaitanya essayed an aspiring filmmaker Karthik Sivakumar. At that time, the ‘Love Story’ actor was reportedly in love with Shruti Haasan with whom he shared screen space in the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit film ‘Premam’. But a few years later, they broke up. Chay fell in love with Sam in 2015. After dating for a couple of years, they finally exchanged wedding vows on October 6, 2017.
On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya will be next seen playing a hockey player in Vikram Kumar’s ‘Thank You’ co-starring Raashii Khanna. Avika Gor is one of the lead actresses. Dil Raju is producing the movie under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. S Thaman has composed the music for the film. PC Sreeram will be handling the cinematography. The duo- Naga Chaitanya and Vikram Kumar had previously worked together in ‘Manam’, which also featured Naga Chaitanya’s dad Nagarjuna, and granddad Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
