Prithviraj Sukumaran opens up on his plans to direct Mammootty

It’s a known fact that the Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is literally a perfectionist who doesn’t leave any stone unturned in achieving utmost perfection in both acting and directing. With the success of his directorial debut ‘Lucifer’, starring Mohanlal in the lead, the fans have been pondering over the question of whether the ‘Jana Gana Mana’ actor is planning to direct the legendary superstar Mammootty in the near future.
In a recent interview with an online media channel as part of his upcoming film ‘Jana Gana Mana’, Prithviraj Sukumaran spilled beans on his plans to direct Mammootty. The actor opened up that it’s his dream to work with Mammootty same as any other filmmakers out there. Prithviraj further added that Murali Gopy has a brief script that is written especially for Mammootty and would work well if it is executed. But since it’s a long process to compile the script and make it into a full-fledged form, it may take some time.
On the other hand, Prithviraj Sukumaran is all geared up for the theatrical release of his upcoming Dijo Jose Antony’s sophomore directorial venture ‘Jana Gana Mana’ which is scheduled for April 28.
Actor Suraj Venjaramoodu plays a daring cop character in the film which is touted as a vigilante action thriller. Actors Mamta Mohandas, Sri Divya, Shari, Dhruvan, Pasupathy, Vincy Aloshious, and Shammi Thilakan will be seen playing important roles in ‘Jana Gana Mana’.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently busy with the shoot of his upcoming Blessy’s directorial film ‘Aadujeevitham’ which is progressing in Jordan. The film is based on the most celebrated works of the writer Benyamin by the same title. Actress Amala Paul will be also seen in a pivotal female lead in the survival drama film.
