A record number of worshippers were greeted at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi on the 27th night of Ramadan. Prayers were attended by 70,000 people, with 11,589 performing Taraweeh and 59,091 praying Tahajjud, while Iftar meals were provided for 33,500 individuals. Sheikh Idris Abkar led the prayers and prayed for the UAE’s security, prosperity, and guidance of its leaders. Worshippers from various backgrounds filled the mosque’s halls, corridors, and courtyards, fostering a peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, large numbers of worshippers attended prayers at other mosques in the UAE, supported by various services provided by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre and government agencies.
