Union Parliamentary Minister Prahlada Joshim while speaking to media persons on Wednesday, said that since there is a weak Chief Minister in the state, not only the people, but also the Congress MLAs are as good as they are not there. He said the Congress MLA from Kolar responded to the Speaker’s request for time to submit his resignation.
Nothing is right in the state Congress, he said. It is a fact that the MLAs there are opposing the ticket given to Muniyappa’s son-in-law, he said. Also, he said that since Chief Minister is weak, the Congress MLAs were involved in activities like the decision to submit resignation.
Congress MLAs are fed up with the tussle between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, the central government’s 2.36 lakh crore NDRF move in the Supreme Court, disrespectful talk about the country’s Prime Minister and internal bickering within the party. Therefore, Kolar MLAs seem to have come to a decision that if this government exists, it will fall.
