BJP State President and MLA BY Vijayendra expressed confidence that all problems including Shivamogga will be solved, talking to the media persons. Minor confusions in the state are being resolved, also, soon things will flow, he said. He also said that since it is certain that the BJP will come to power at the center and Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister, there are more ticket aspirants for the BJP. He opined that there are some problems in the state and they will be solved soon.
Answering KS Eshwarappa’s question about the contest, he said that they are a national party. Despite the fact that the Congress party is in power in the state, aspirants also expected BJP to win. He also said that the leader, Yediyurappa has visited Davanagere and Belgavi and solved the problems there, adding that Eshwarappa’s problem will also be solved.
The central leadership of the party will not take decisions just by listening to Vijayendra and Yediyurappa, he assured. A strong leadership is at the core, he replied to the question that he had discussed with all the leaders regarding the state. He said that when the election results come, it will be known who has worked actively.
The Congress party had decided to field 18-20 Ministers for the Lok Sabha elections, no Minister of the state has shown the courage to contest the Lok Sabha elections, he said. He concluded that the reason for this was the pro-BJP wave.
