Beneficiaries of the central scheme ‘Namo Drone Didis’ showcased agricultural drone demonstrations nationwide on Monday. PM Modi distributed drones to 1,000 Namo Drone Didis from various regions, exhibiting their skills simultaneously at 10 different locations. During the demonstrations, numerous drones were flown by the Namo Drone Didis across the country.
PM Modi, sharing the event video, praised the empowering women power showcased by the Drone Didis nationwide. He personally joined the demonstration in Delhi, interacting with the Drone Didis. One beneficiary, Siddamma, expressed gratitude to PM Modi, highlighting the transformation from being recognized as wives or daughters-in-law to Drone Didis.
Bisma Qadir, overwhelmed, struggled to articulate her feelings. PM Modi assured that his ‘third term’ will further empower women, enabling their resurgence. He emphasized schemes like ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ and Sukanya Samriddhi initiated during his first term. Acknowledging drone technology’s transformative role in agriculture, PM Modi discussed its expansion into diverse sectors, benefiting rural women.
The Namo Drone Didi and Lakhpati Didi initiatives align with PM Modi’s vision of empowering women economically, especially in rural areas. He also honored Lakhpati Didis for their success under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission, motivating others in self-help groups.
