In wake of preparations of a public event to be held by CM at Vidhana Soudha on February 8, traffic restrictions have been announced in the area on Wednesday and Thursday.
Traffic movement will remain affected from Kengal Hanumantayya Circle to Gate No.04 in Vidhana Soudha premises till Thursday, an advisory stated.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic on Feb 7 & 8:
1. Vehicles approaching through Dr. Devaraj Urs Road will enter from the A.G.S. Building, proceed through M.S. Building Inner Road, and exit on the left side towards Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Road.
2. Vehicles coming from Chalukya Circle will move through C.I.D. Office Premises, take the left turn near Maharani College Appar Camp, and travel on K.R. Circle Road to reach Ambedkar Veedhi/C.T. Civil Court Road.
Parking will be prohibited from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Feb 8 on the following roads:
1. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Road
2. Raj Bhavan Road, Palace Road
3. Dr. Devaraj Urs Road
4. Sheshadri Road
The public parking places allotted are (subject to availability/surface fee):
– South and Guides Parking Place
– Jnanajyothi and Bengaluru University Parking Place
– Central College
– Freedom Park Parking Place
– Cubbon Park Parking Place.
