Free State-Level Health Fair Successful In Kollegala, Minister Dinesh Gundurao

Even in my constituency, not so many people attended the health check-up camp organised by the government. This is a special programme, the fair was organized for the health of the people here, Health and Family Welfare Minister  Dinesh Gundurao said.

Addressing the health fair organized at the MGSV Stadium in Kollegala town, the Minister suggested that this camp should not be limited to propaganda but to make it beneficial, the poor people will be helped by our government’s program called Asha Kirana and they will be provided with all the benefits of the government. A dialysis center has already been opened in Rampur of Hanur taluk. Technology will be provided there. A doctor will be appointed as per the need for the hospital without a doctor. In the coming days, medicine will be made available in all ways in the government hospital. It is suggested that the public should not arrange tickets outside. We have a team of expert doctors in this camp, if the poor get checked up in the health fair, they will be guided in a way that will make it easier for them to get cured. Diseases will increase day by day and preventive measures will be taken. Let it be successful at the state level, he said.

District in-charge Minister K Venkatesh said that the free health fair is an ambitious project of the Karnataka government, about seven thousand people have come and benefited, more than a hundred people have an expert medical team, and they have been given good treatment.

  MLA AR Krishnamurthy,  said that not only did he appeal to all ethnic groups to make good use of the health fair conducted by the government, but we are happy that the Minister has chosen our Kollegala constituency. There are 200 para-medical members.  A well-equipped hospital should be started at Hanur taluk center. He requested the Minister to establish a blood bank for Kollegala and appoint a doctor to Yalandur taluk hospital, at the same time he said that transportation and food arrangements have been made for all of them.
