The Wild Elephants Invade Farmer’s Land, Destroy Crops

An incident in which four wild elephants entered the farmer’s tomato garden and destroyed the crop took place in Chikka Hagade village of Anekal taluka on the outskirts of Bangalore. This incident happened in a one acre tomato garden belonging to Rajappa.  

Forest animals  are coming towards the country, especially in Vanakanahalli, Denkanikote Shanma, Hosur of Tamilnadu border.  The wild elephants have appeared in the border of Karnataka, which has made people sleepless, not only that but it has become a headache for the villages and farmers on the edge of the forest. Not only did the wilde elephants attack the farm and eat the Tomato crop,  but they also caused crop damage to the farmer and also entered the farm and destroyed the entire crop, resulting in a loss of lakhs of rupees to the farmers, causing them to spend time in tears. Even though the farmers have submitted complaints to forest officials to curb the elephants menace, they are not responding, allege the farmers.
