Resident of city, Captain CT Supreetha   will create history with her husband Major Jerry Blaize, who will become the first couple to participate in the Republic Day parade on January 26. In 2016, she was also selected for the Republic Day parade when she was an NCC cadet. This time she will be part of the Army tableau.
Captain CT Supreetha, who is currently serving in the Army Air Defence, joined the Indian Army in 2021.
Daughter of inspector Thirumalesh, and Nirmala, she joined NCC when she was studying in Class VIII. We wanted her to take up a career in judiciary. At that time JSS Law College principal Suresh motivated her to join the Indian Army. She developed interest in joining the defence forces after she became a NCC cadet, recalled her proud father Thirumalesh. We are all very happy and proud of her achievement, said Thirumalesh.
