Minister RB Thimmapura demanded that MP Ananthakumar Hegde should immediately apologize to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.   Speaking to media persons, he said,  Siddaramaiah is the Chief Minister elected by the people. It is everyone’s religion that needs to be respected. Anantakumar Hegde could have won from any party. That kind of talk is not good for anyone. He has spoken disparagingly about Dr. Ambedkar in the past. They are insulting Hinduism. He had said that he will change the constitution and criticised whether the constitution was written and given to someone.
  Ananthakumar has received a notice that he will not get a ticket, hence he is talking like this. If they talk in this way, they   wish that they will get a ticket. They are misusing God and misusing religion to get tickets. Did he ever talk about development.  The youth are asking for employment, but they are not giving it. We are helping through Yuvanidhi.Â
The BJP is calling Rama, Sri Rama. God is everyone’s property. He attacked Ananthakumar saying that he had created it as if he belonged to the BJP. Thimmapura responded to Ananthakumar’s bold statement that the Gandhi family had a Krishnashtami curse, saying Ananthakumar was a traitor. So they talk like that. Did Hindu religion say to insult religion, is Hindu blood supposed to hurt another blood.  As soon as the election comes, all of them will remember Hindutva. After the election, everything will be closed. He said all these are election gimmicks.
