Rajnath Singh issued a stark warning to Pak, saying every inch of it was within the range of BrahMos missiles, even as he called Op Sindoor merely a trailer.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday warned Pakistan that every inch of its territory lies within the range of India’s BrahMos missiles, while calling Operation Sindoor “just a trailer” of India’s military strength. Speaking at the BrahMos Aerospace facility in Lucknow, where the first batch of indigenously produced missiles was flagged off along with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Singh said BrahMos had proved its effectiveness during Operation Sindoor and had become a vital pillar of India’s security.
He noted that the Lucknow unit, built on 200 acres at a cost of ₹380 crore, will produce around 100 BrahMos missiles annually, creating employment for hundreds. The facility, inaugurated in May, houses advanced integration, testing, and quality-check systems to ensure high precision before deployment with the Armed Forces. Singh said India is overcoming challenges of disrupted global supply chains, a veiled reference to delays in foreign spare part deliveries.
The Defence Minister lauded BrahMos as a symbol of India’s self-reliance, with its supersonic speed, stealth, and advanced guidance system giving it unmatched precision and the ability to strike targets up to 290 km away.
Operation Sindoor, India’s retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, showcased BrahMos’s capabilities as Indian forces destroyed several terror camps and military sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Pakistan’s drone counterattacks were successfully repelled, leading to a four-day conflict that ended with a ceasefire agreement.
