BJP State President BY Vijayendra has condemned the incident in which the children of Morarji Desai hostel in Yeluvahalli, near Malur in Kolar district, were engaged in cleaning excrement pit. A BJP release said that he has ordered the formation of a state committee to study the facts of the incident.
Legislative Council Members N Ravikumar, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, Bharati Shetty, Mahila Morcha State President Geetha Vivekananda, former Chairperson of Women’s Commission Pramila Naidu will be in this committee. This committee will also look into the problems there, including cleanliness of pits and punishment of children. The party announcement said that this committee will visit the place and verify the facts and report to the State President.
