Former Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, after meeting BJP State President B Y Vijayendra, said that  he has agreed to work together in the run-up to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Speaking to the media at his residence in Sadashivanagar, he said, I can’t say what our pain is now. We both had a discussion together. The discussion between the four walls is not openly stated. Vijayendra is now the State President of our party, we will not question him. Yesterday, I had discussions with MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and MLA Sunil Kumar   and decided to cooperate. We have agreed to work together for the victory of our party in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections, he said.

Vijayendra has come to us today after becoming the state president of the party. Everything is fine now. We all work together. We will not be upset. We have accepted Vijayendra as the state president and R Ashoka as the leader of the opposition. We will cooperate in view of the Lok Sabha elections. We will start organising the party in the BJP. There was resentment, we are also human beings, aren’t we. Now our task is to make Modi the Prime Minister of the country again. Now there is no resentment, everything is fine, he said.
