H Vinoth’s latest outing ‘Valimai’ starring Ajith is receiving both positive and negative reviews. Though it has reportedly not exceeded the expectations of the fans, the movie has crossed the box office collection of Rs 100 crore within three days of its release. After the success of ‘Valimai’, H Vinoth is working on his next tentatively titled ‘AK 61’ with Ajith Kumar, which is again produced by Boney Kapoor and will be officially the third film in which the trio has collaborated.
Moreover, apart from this collaboration, the director is also reportedly planning his next with actor Vijay Sethupathi. Speculation has also raised that even that movie will be produced by Boney Kapoor and reports suggest that the movie will go on floors in August 2022. Earlier, there was a buzz in November 2021 that Vinoth will be helming a film with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. According to reports, the yet to be titled film which will be directed by H Vinoth with Vijay Sethupathi will have two male lead and it is stated that Yogi Babu will be playing the role of second lead in the film. However, there has been no official announcement regarding this upcoming movie.
Meanwhile, the pre-production work for ‘AK 61’ is underway and the film will go on floors from March 9.
