The Chief Minister has warned the Ministers not to make public statements by anyone, including me, KPCC President ad Deputy CM DK Shivakumar said. After a meeting with Ministers at the Chief Minister’s residence, he said, we had already warned them not to make public statements. No one, including me, should speak in public. It puts the party and the government in a quandary. The Chief Minister has instructed us not to fall into the trap of the media.

Don’t talk about any power-sharing. People have given us power for five years. We have issued guarantees. We have asked them to pay more attention to them. Don’t spoil their future with public statements. We don’t want to spoil the party’s future, he said.

We had asked the Minister to make a district-wise panel on the list of aspirants for the Lok Sabha elections. Some have given a list of aspiring candidates, some others have not given us the report. We have to conduct a survey after they give us the list of aspirants. The pulse of the voters should be checked. We have instructed the Minister to do so, he said.

We have given a task to the Minister. In connection with the Lok Sabha elections, we have given the Ministers the charge of districts other than their in-charge district. We have asked for a report this week. Then we will do a survey. We will release the first list in January. We will instruct the candidates to work, he said.
