Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar quipped, Kumaranna alliance is only for Karnataka. How can the National President of that party differentiate between Kerala and Karnataka.
Speaking at a programme of various leaders of other parties joining the Congress at KPCC Office, he said, since JD(S) has joined NDA, hundreds of JD(S) party leaders from other states including Kerala are joining Congress party especially India alliance.
I’m not just here to invite you to a party. I have come to give a target to recruit at least 10 people to the party one by one. Congress party is the strength of this country, Congress history is the history of this country, let us all strengthen the party together.
At the same time, thousands of activists including former mayor Nagaraj, former Deputy Mayor Palaksha, Rajanna, former City Councilor Umana left JD(S) and BJP and joined Congress party in the presence of the Government’s Special Representative at Delhi, TB Jayachandra.
