The details of Sharannavarathri rituals of the royal family during Dasara this year have been fixed. These include the jewel-studded throne arrangement, a private durbar, ayudha puja at the Palace and the Sharannavarathri puja of the royal tradition performed by the royal scion Yaduveer Krishna Datta Chamaraja Wadiyar on Vijayadashami day.
The jewel-studded throne will be installed on Oct. 9Â at the Durbar Hall of the palace by skilled workers of Gejjagalli, led by Rajmata Pramoda Devi Wodeyar. Before that, navagraha puja and homavana will be performed at the palace from morning. After that, the jewel-studded throne of the spare part in the strong room of the basement of the palace will be brought to the Durbar Hall and the jewel-studded throne will be arranged in the auspicious ascendant from 9.10 am to 05.10 am.
