Hon’ble Minister for Energy Shri K J George visited the land identified to set up the Solarization IP feeder at Mudhadi, Rangenahalli and Chikkur villages in Arasikere Taluk. Solarised irrigation pump feeders make for green energy and ensure uninterrupted power supply at economical costs. Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble minister said implementing these projects would enhance localised power generation, thereby leading to efficient fulfilment of electricity to the farmers during the day. The visit concluded with the hon’ble minister’s visit to Hiriyur village. Electricity supply companies such as BESCOM, CESCOM, AND HESCOM have already identified the land to set up the solar parks. Rest of the companies are in the process of identifying the land that meets their requirements. Solarized irrigation pump feeders offer green energy and supply continuous electricity at economical cost. Speaking on the occasion, the Hon’ble Minister said, Implementation of these schemes will increase local power generation, thereby leading to efficient supply of electricity to farmers during the day. Hon’ble Minister also visited Hiriyur village.
