Former Deputy Chairman Of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia To Deliver Lecture On September 24

Montek Sigh Ahluwalia, former Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission of India and an renowned economist will be delivering a lecture on New challenges for our development in the the next 25 years, under Tallur Nudimale lecture series on Sunday at Town Hall,  said Dr PV Bhandary, Organising Committee member of Karavali Kattu project.

Speaking at the press conference he said, the lecture will be followed by an interaction session of Montek Singh Ahluwalia with IIMB faculty Professor MS Sriram. Ahluwalia worked as the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission for 10 years. He was also the first director of the IMF’s independent evaluation office. Professor MS Sriram was the Chief of the Committee formed for creating Kerala co-operative bank by the Kerala government. He has worked in Gujarat Institute of Rural Management and IIM. Tallur family trust is involved in various societal oriented activities of the health, education, and cultural arenas in and around Kundapur region,  he added.

Addressing the press gathering Rajaram Tallur, trustee Tallur family trust said, on the day Montek Singh Ahluwalia will also be releasing the Kannada version of his book, Backstage translated by Rajaram Talllur and titled M document. The book is published by Ahrnishi Prakashana.Samvarth Sahil, Organising Committee member of Karavali Kattu was also present during the press meet.
