MLA Leads Grand Reading Of India’s Constitution Preamble On International Democracy Day

In commemoration of International Democracy Day, the MLA of Anekal, B Shivanna, took center stage at Sriramakutiga, Anekal Town, Bangalore Urban Waravalaya, overseeing a remarkable global reading program of the Preamble of the Constitution of India. The event was marked by grandeur and drew the enthusiastic participation of school and college students who proudly recited the Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to democratic values. The program, hosted in Ramakutira, Anekal Patta, was conducted under the able leadership of MLA Shivanna. As the students chanted slogans affirming their collective pride as Indian citizens and their desire for equal opportunities for all, MLA B Shivanna highlighted the crucial role of the Constitution in making this vision a reality. He emphasized that the Constitution serves as the bedrock upon which India’s democratic principles stand, ensuring that every citizen has a fair chance at success. The event witnessed the presence and participation of several esteemed individuals, including Anekal Tehsildar and Magistrates Sashidhar Madnal, Vittal, District Education Officers JM Jayalakshmi, Anekal Circle Inspector Chandrappana, Public Works Department Venkatesh AEE, Government Employees Union Treasurer G Nagaraju, and President Sivanna, among others. This celebratory reading of the Preamble on International Democracy Day serves as a poignant reminder of India’s commitment to democracy and the values enshrined in its Constitution, paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable society.
