Gabriel Jesus, the Arsenal forward, has been called up to join Brazil’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Bolivia and Peru. The 26-year-old striker hasn’t played for Brazil since the 2022 World Cup. The decision to omit Antony from the squad was made due to the allegations against him, which require further investigation. Antony has denied these allegations and expressed his intention to prove his innocence. Brazil will face Bolivia in Belem on Friday and then play against Peru in Lima on September 12 as part of the World Cup qualifying campaign.
