Rajya Sabha Member Iranna Kadadi, who is the state president of BJP Raita Morcha, said a massive protest will be staged in front of the officies of Tahsildars in all taluks in the State on September 8 to condemn anti-farmer and anti-people policies of the Congress Government. Kadadi told media  that due to lack of rain, the state is facing a drought situation. But still, the Government has not been helping farmers. Adequate power is not supplied to farmers. The government has put the farmers in hardship by imposing load-shedding, he alleged. He also listed the other problems faced by farmers,  less water in reservoirs compared to last year,  42 farmers committing within 100 days of Congress government coming to power,  release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu to satisfy INDIA allies, and the like.
