Congress MLC BK Hariprasad has expressed his confidence in the scientific foundations of the Congress party and criticized the BJP for its alleged superstitious beliefs. Speaking at a private event in Kalaburagi, he mentioned that ISRO was given a place in Bengaluru during the Congress government’s tenure and accused the BJP of reaping the rewards of the Congress’s efforts. Hariprasad also highlighted that many scientists who contributed to Chandrayaan were from backward classes. He strongly opposed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s One Nation One Election policy, criticizing the BJP for undermining diversity in the country and going against the principles of Swami Vivekananda. Hariprasad suggested that in the future, India might be referred to as One Nation One Leader, emphasizing the need for fair elections without the involvement of agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
