On Friday, the Mantralaya-Machalipattanam train service was inaugurated, marking a significant addition to the rail network. The green signal for the train was given by Baburao, a Railway Board Member, and Sharavan Kumar, Senior Divisional Operator Manager of Guntakal Railway. The train will run from Raichur to Mantralaya, departing at 4 PM and reaching Machalipatnam the following morning. The route includes stops at Gadwal, Kurnool, Dhon, Nandyala, Narasarao Pet, Guntur, Vijayawada, and Gudiwada. Several dignitaries and officials, including Station Manager Ashoka Kumar Meena and local association presidents, were present at the inauguration ceremony. This new train service is expected to facilitate travel between these destinations and enhance connectivity for passengers.
