Five Guarantees In The Concept Of Social Justice, Minister SS Mallikarjuna

The concept of social justice and upholding it by giving 5 guarantees during elections, has been launched. Minister of Mines and Geology, Horticulture, District in-charge Minister SS Mallikarjuna said that our priority is to provide people with freedom from hunger, shelter, health protection and education for all.

  He spoke   on Wednesday after inaugurating the Grilahakshmi Yojana programme.

Importantly, five guarantees were announced during the election. Among them four guarantees have been implemented including Grilahakshmi.   He said that in the next few days, a programme will be launched to give stipends   to graduates and those who have passed diplomas every month for two years.

  3,27,472 women have been registered under Grilahakshmi Yojana in the district, which will be directly deposited into their account every month. For this, a grant of Rs. 64.81 crore has been given to the district. He said that 15 percent women in the district are still out of the scheme and they will also get the benefit of the scheme in the coming days.

This scheme for women will help housewives to manage their families. Used to educate their children, manage the house. This will improve their economic situation and the government will get income from them in the form of taxes and the money given to the people will not go anywhere, this is also an income for the government and not a loss, he said.

MLA KS Basavanthappa also spoke.

Women and Child Development Department Deputy Director Vasanti Uppar briefed about the Grihalakshmi scheme.

Deputy Commissioner Dr MV Venkatesh, District Superintendent of Police Uma Prashanth, Zilla Panchayat CEO Suresh B Itnal, Corporation Mayor BH Vinayak, Standing Committee Chairman Chaman Saab, members of the Corporation and officers were present.
