Ministers Ishwar Khandre and Raheen Khan, who came down from the stage to listen to the problems of the differently-abled people in the Jana Spandana program, received a petition from the disabled.
Speaking on the occasion, Ishwara Khandre said that efforts will be made to provide accommodation to the disabled, be it pension or vehicle. He assured that there will be a discussion in the Cabinet about providing employment to the mentally challenged.
The Minister said that he will listen to the problems of the public and solve within the legal framework.
After listening to the complaint of a woman seeking help under the Government’s housing scheme for building a house, the minister told her to apply to the panchayat. He told the officials to check the application within the legal limit for house construction if he is an eligible beneficiary.
He suggested on-the-spot solution to many problems like clearing the transformer which is obstructing the entry of the house and construction of drains.
