A farmer in the district celebrated birthday by cutting a cake for his favourite bull. Siddharamappa, a resident of Kerekyathanahalli village in Hanagal taluk, celebrated the birthday of a bull named Yajamana with great enthusiasm. Along with the five-year-old bull, four other bulls of the house were also decorated and worshipped. Hundreds of fans of the master participated.
A cake weighing 10 kg was cut and the bull’s birthday was celebrated. Hundreds of people fed cake to their favourite bull and clicked selfies. A blood donation camp was also organised at the same time. The villagers of Kerekyathanahalli and 50 fans including youth and women of the bull donated blood.
Siddharamappa, the owner of the bull, said that he had bought the bull five years ago in a village in Hanagal taluk. After being brought home, a lot of training was given and made into a coconut bull. The bull has participated in various competitions and has won awards. It is one of the important coconut bulls in the district.
The bull is also used for agricultural activities. We will give special training during Diwali. On this occasion, we train in the morning and evening. We swim in the filled lake. We provide various nutritious food including greens, flour, pusa, bean, rice flour, etc. Most of them drive bulls in competitions in the hope of a prize.
